Secret Garden

SCOPE OF WORK

Primary Suite + Formal Dining

CLIENT REQUESTS

Comfortable, intimate, fresh, masculine, quality, functional

Our Secret Garden project instantly pulls you in, wraps you up, and invites you to stay. In the primary suite, we fully enveloped the walls, ceiling, and trim in the paint color Treron by Farrow & Ball, bringing out the richness of rattan bed, the height of the custom linen drapes, and the dancing light of the silk bedside lamp. The space now feels equally opulent and tranquil and its emotional quality a favorite of our clients. In this transformation, we captured a feeling of comfortable luxury through the use of color, asymmetry, history and a touch of quirk, while vintage art and hand-painted vases offer a human element

In the nearby formal dining room, we balanced the deep olive walls with light and airy accents and repeated the custom linen drapes, this time without a lining to allow in plenty of natural light and draw the eyes upward to our main focal point. The whimsical chandelier adds a feminine touch and continues the play on shapes from the bedroom. The room is grounded by a solid, but curvy, dining table from Lulu and Georgia that easily allows for intimate family dinners or formal entertainment. We added a full table setting of Mercer White Porcelain plates from Crate & Barrel for their asymmetrical imperfections and used a jute runner as a relaxed, natural element.
